mini_badai.jpgGenerative artificial intelligence has many positives (which we address, for example, on our specialized pages), but on the other hand, we must not ignore the risks and problems that this technology brings. For example, in recent months, more and more photos and videos created with the help of generative artificial intelligence have appeared in the public space. Many of them depict famous personalities – without their consent and with the aim of discrediting them or using them, for example, for fraudulent activities. This also affects ordinary internet users, such as teenage girls who have become targets of so-called undressing applications.

mini meta logoYou may have experienced this as well - someone unknown contacted you through Messenger on Facebook, claiming that your account or page violates the service terms and needs verification to prevent it from being blocked or deleted. The message is usually accompanied by the Meta Platforms logo (or another blue logo), and the account names often suggest that it could indeed be a report from Meta. However, it is a scam - phishing aimed at stealing your login credentials and taking over your account.

mini_sexgirl.jpgIn recent days, there have been numerous reports in the media about users using freely available artificial intelligence tools to generate pornographic content involving both children and adults. For a layperson (and even for an expert), it is often very difficult to distinguish between an authentic photograph and a product of intelligent software utilizing artificial intelligence. The tools that allow for the generation of this content are freely available, making the creation of such content very easy - and also very dangerous.

mini sadchildrenAt any time of day or night, hundreds of Czech children experience risky situations in the online environment that can cause them serious physical or psychological consequences. However, only a fraction of them find the courage to ask an adult for help. They fear how their parents would react if they found out about the problems, which are often related to sexuality.

Olomouc (6 February 2017) - The Centre for Prevention of Risky Virtual Communication at Palacký University Olomouc investigated the popular computer game Minecraft and its influence in the child population. In the Czech environment, the research called The Minecraft Phenomenon took place in cooperation with Google and Vodafone. More than 2,300 active, mostly child players from all regions of the Czech Republic, participated.
